Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nuno Neto kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caxias FC's zone, Daniel Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Machado came out of the goal and Daniel Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th match minute, Caxias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Castro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Caxias FC's Augusto Paiva got a free kick in the 8th minute. Artur Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Machado having to make a save. In the 11th minute, Artur Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Artur Sousa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 22 minutes, Artur Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cacemes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Moniz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. SC Cacemes's Daniel Setúbal got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 28th minute of the match Artur Sousa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Artur Sousa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to SC Cacemes getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Artur Sousa hit a great ball. Daniel Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Inácio Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Inácio Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Ferro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Setúbal made a kick off. When João Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the SC Cacemes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Veiga couldn't finish the play. If Nuno Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, SC Cacemes's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Neto came free, but André Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Cacemes's André Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Neto in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Cacemes's goalkeeper André Ferro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Inácio Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. André Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Ferro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Caxias FC's Henrique Fonseca suffered a sprained foot after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. José Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Cacemes getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. José Leão hit a great ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Daniel Setúbal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caxias FC's Raul Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
