Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristóvão Soares took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Coimbra's Jaime Azevedo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Alexandre Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Oliveira Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Coimbra hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes Louriceira got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Leiria. Oliveira Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Leite in the 21st minute of play. Paulo Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Dantas in the 26th minute of the match. SC Coimbra's Oliveira Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Soares in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Cristóvão Soares made a precise shot to the right of Oliveira Setúbal. SC Coimbra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Adolfo Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Coimbra's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Paredes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Catarino Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Catarino Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Cristóvão Soares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. SC Coimbra's Oliveira Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Soares in the 42nd minute of play. Cristóvão Soares succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Catarino Dantas made a kick off. Paulo Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Dantas in the 55th minute of play. Adolfo Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Coimbra's Catarino Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Catarino Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Paredes struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Paulo Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Coimbra. 71 minutes into the game, Catarino Dantas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Reis. Catarino Dantas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The supporters of Louriceira booed when SC Coimbra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes, Louriceira's João Pires shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oliveira Setúbal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Louriceira reached it. 3-2 became the score in the 82nd minute when Cristóvão Soares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jacinto Coimbra hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Soares in the 95th minute of play forced SC Coimbra's goalkeeper Oliveira Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Cristóvão Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Louriceira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristóvão Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
