In the 10thth minute of the game Sebastião Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Marroquil's Amadeu Macedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, SC Marroquil's Sérgio Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, SC Marroquil's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Miranda came free, but Amadeu Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeu Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Alves in the 17th minute of play. Sérgio Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rodrigo Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Miguel Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poios FC and the SC Marroquil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Poios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Mota to maneuver through the defense. The Poios FC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Poios FC's Sebastião Torres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Amadeu Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Miranda in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Alves in the 40th minute of play forced Poios FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastião Torres to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Inácio Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poios FC and the SC Marroquil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute Rui Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
