Vítor Torres came out of the goal and Delfim Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, André Borges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Britiande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Areeiro the free kick. André Borges hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Manuel Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Augusto Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. SC Areeiro's Daniel Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Soares in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Tomás Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Areeiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Britiande the free kick. The supporters of SC Areeiro booed when Britiande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Lúcio Carvalho in the 83rd minute really tested Vítor Torres's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Augusto Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
