Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sérgio Fonseca got the match started through his kick off. If Sérgio Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Ricardo Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cândido Monteiro. Barrocalvo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Barrocalvo's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Fonseca came free, but Cândido Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Joaquim Freitas had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Adolfo Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Adolfo Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 29 minutes, Filipe Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrocalvo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vascoveiro FC's Ricardo Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inácio Pacheco made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Filipe Domingues sent off a good shot on target. Adolfo Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Domingues in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inácio Pacheco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the match, Barrocalvo's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Fonseca came free, but Cândido Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cândido Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Cruz in the 62nd minute. Cândido Monteiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Filipe Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Leão's late challenge caught a Vascoveiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Leão helped the player get up and apologised. Alexandre Leão hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ricardo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cândido Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vascoveiro FC! Vascoveiro FC:s Inácio Pacheco showed great skill when he stopped Carlos Anjos:s penalty. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Afonso Miranda put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barrocalvo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Vascoveiro FC. Bernardo Freitas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cândido Monteiro. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Cruz got free with Cândido Monteiro in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cândido Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Cruz in the 95th minute. The supporters of Barrocalvo booed when Vascoveiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vascoveiro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
