Podame's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Rui Vale from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Adelino Freitas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hélder Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Fernando Queirós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adelino Freitas, 1-0. If Gaspar Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Ouro FC's Filipe Oliveira got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gaspar Maia in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Duarte Araújo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Podame's Adelino Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Castro in the 64th minute of play. Duarte Araújo came out of the goal and André Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute André Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If André Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute André Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hélder Castro came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ouro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélder Castro couldn't finish the play. In the 88thth minute of the game Fernando Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Podame's Adelino Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Silva got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th minute, Gabriel Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Castro in the 91st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Maia got free with Duarte Araújo in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ouro FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
