Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sandro Moreira made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Macedinho booed when Ervideiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Macedinho's Mário Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandro Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Macedinho got a freekick which was hit by Marco Branco. In the 21st match minute, Ervideiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Reis to maneuver through the defense. Mário Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Cunha having to interfere. Mário Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mário Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ervideiro! When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Macedinho's Eduardo Anjos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of José Cunha. Rui Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. Mário Sousa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. José Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macedinho. José Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Fonseca in the 39th minute. The Macedinho fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Macedinho's Mário Sousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 46th minute, Mário Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Sousa in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
In the 63rd minute, Sandro Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Rui Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macedinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Ervideiro's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Sousa came free, but José Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Eduardo Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ervideiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macedinho the free kick. In the 81st match minute, Ervideiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Baptista to maneuver through the defense. If Rui Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mário Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Macedinho got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Fonseca. After 96 minutes Macedinho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulo Delgado who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ervideiro's corner Paulo Delgado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filipe Amaral quite easily take care of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Macedinho fully deserved thier win.
