Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filipe Mota took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Gardete FC's Domingos Fonseca got control of the ball when André Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Alexandre Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gardete FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Currelos FC the free kick. After 5 played minutes Gardete FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Aguiar. A collision led to Gardete FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Joel Viegas hit a great ball. Afonso Paredes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Humberto Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Domingos Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Aleixo in the 21st minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Humberto Aleixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gardete FC's Domingos Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gardete FC's Domingos Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Aleixo in the 25th minute of play. Domingos Fonseca came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Currelos FC's Humberto Aleixo. But to his dismay, Humberto Aleixo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Filipe Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Mota in the 39th minute of play forced Currelos FC's goalkeeper André Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Ricardo Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gardete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Anjos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armindo Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Aleixo to make the kick off. If Ricardo Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Currelos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. André Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Anjos in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Filipe Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Currelos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Mota came free, but André Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Filipe Mota came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Gardete FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Mota couldn't finish the play. André Paredes made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ricardo Anjos sent off a good shot on target. Filipe Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Paredes having to interfere. André Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ricardo Anjos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but André Paredes made a huge save. Ricardo Anjos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Paredes having to make a save. Filipe Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Paredes came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Gardete FC's Filipe Mota. But to his dismay, Filipe Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alexandre Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Domingos Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
