Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lourenço Almeida kicked off to start the match. When Lourenço Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Maragota fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lourenço Almeida couldn't finish the play. Fernando Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maragota's António Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Pedroso in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Domingao FC's Fernando Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Matias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Maragota's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Campos came free, but António Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lourenço Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manuel Campos came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Domingao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Campos couldn't finish the play. Vítor Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Vítor Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Campos in the 35th minute of the match. Manuel Campos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Matias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fernando Pedroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Matias was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fernando Pedroso sped through Maragota's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of António Matias. After 44 played minutes Maragota got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Sousa. A collision led to Domingao FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eusébio Macedo hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Pedroso was the one to do the kick off. Vasco Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Figueiredo in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Almeida in the 55th minute of play forced Domingao FC's goalkeeper Vasco Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Pedro Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Pedroso in the 61st minute of play forced Maragota's goalkeeper António Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maragota's Paulo Sousa got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Domingao FC's Manuel Campos in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maragota's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Maragota's zone, Fernando Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Matias came out of the goal and Fernando Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Maragota's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manuel Campos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Pedroso in the 68th minute of play forced Maragota's goalkeeper António Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lourenço Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Trindade having to interfere. Domingao FC's Fernando Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lourenço Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Moniz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for António Matias. Maragota's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Domingao FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
