Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Vaz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joaquim Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Filipe Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Rendo's Filipe Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Guerreiro in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Vítor Viegas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Rendo's Filipe Figueiredo. Filipe Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, Senharei FC's goalkeeper Catarino Vieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Barros. Xavier Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Viegas in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Figueiredo saved SC Rendo from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Faria during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Senharei FC booed when SC Rendo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Figueiredo having to interfere. If Vítor Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SC Rendo getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cândido Henriques hit a great ball. Joaquim Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Senharei FC's Catarino Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Silva in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Jorge Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jorge Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Rendo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Catarino Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Senharei FC's Vítor Viegas got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute of the match, Vítor Viegas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filipe Figueiredo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Carlos Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Vítor Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Senharei FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Viegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Santarém's late challenge caught a Senharei FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Santarém helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Senharei FC booed when SC Rendo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes of play, SC Rendo's Jorge Vaz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Catarino Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Catarino Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Vaz in the 88th minute of play. Carlos Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the game, SC Rendo's Jorge Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Catarino Vieira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
