Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ricardo Rodrigues got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Corcha FC's Humberto Faria got control of the ball when Sebastião Maia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bolideira FC's Rui Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Neto in the 7th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Bernardo Morais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolideira FC and the Corcha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bolideira FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bernardo Morais hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes Bolideira FC got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Borba. In the 12th match minute, Bolideira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Maia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Gustavo Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corcha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Aleixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 minutes, Miguel Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolideira FC and the Corcha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Bolideira FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Lopes. In the 16th minute, Bernardo Silva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bolideira FC's Rui Aleixo didn't even have to move. Adelino Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Faria having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Corcha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Borba came free, but Humberto Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Tiago Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Adelino Borba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Corcha FC's Ricardo Rodrigues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Aleixo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Henrique Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolideira FC and the Corcha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Bolideira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Macedo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastião Maia during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Humberto Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Tiago Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bolideira FC booed when Corcha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adelino Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Faria having to interfere. Humberto Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Maia in the 62nd minute of play. Bolideira FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Ricardo Rodrigues scored to the left of an out of position Rui Aleixo, making the score, 1-2. After 82 played minutes, Bolideira FC's Carlos Soares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Humberto Faria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bolideira FC reached it. José Antunes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match, Gustavo Neto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rui Aleixo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Corcha FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Corcha FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
