Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 5 minutes, Domingos Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Palvarinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Assunção in the 7th minute of play forced Corcha FC's goalkeeper Humberto Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Rodrigues in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Resende saved SC Palvarinho from getting behind. Humberto Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Faria in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Corcha FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. José Antunes hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes, SC Palvarinho's Paulo Martins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Humberto Faria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Palvarinho reached it. Adelino Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Monteiro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Humberto Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Palvarinho's Manuel Resende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save SC Palvarinho from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Assunção in the 39th minute of play forced Corcha FC's goalkeeper Humberto Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catarino Paredes took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Faria. Humberto Faria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Humberto Faria was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Domingos Faria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Domingos Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Domingos Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Palvarinho's goalkeeper Manuel Resende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Resende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Neto's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Humberto Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Corcha FC's goalkeeper Humberto Faria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Assunção. Humberto Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Faria in the 79th minute of the match. After 82 minutes, Gustavo Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corcha FC and the SC Palvarinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Corcha FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Neto. After a defensive mix-up in SC Palvarinho's zone, Ricardo Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Resende came out of the goal and Ricardo Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Corcha FC booed when SC Palvarinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Manuel Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Domingos Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Faria made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Adelino Assunção sent off a good shot on target. The Corcha FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Palvarinho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
