Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gil Lima started the match with the kick off. In the 12th minute, Pedro Amaro made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Nogueira. SC Marzagao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 19th minute, Mário Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Nogueiras short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Simão Anjos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th match minute, SC Marzagao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Leão to maneuver through the defense. When SC Teixoso's Gil Lima in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Marzagao's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the game, David Guarda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Marzagao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Teixoso the free kick. Gil Lima struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Jorge Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Teixoso. The supporters of SC Teixoso booed when SC Marzagao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes, André Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Marzagao and the SC Teixoso players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Marzagao's André Amaral got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Amaral made a kick off. David Guarda struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Simão Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Marzagao. In the 56th minute, Gil Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the game's 60th minute SC Marzagao's Joaquim Leão took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Simão Anjos and thus the score was 1-1. After 65 played minutes Gil Lima could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-2 into the left cross. Mariano Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Simão Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Marzagao. If André Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Pedro Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Teixoso's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Paiva in the 80th minute of play. SC Marzagao's David Guarda got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered David Guarda off the ground. After a rather tough play, SC Marzagao's David Guarda got a free kick in the 81st minute. Pedro Amaro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Jorge Nogueira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Teixoso eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
