The tension between the SC Marzagao and the SC Vitoreira players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 29th minute, David Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, SC Vitoreira's Diamantino Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Nogueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Resende shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 1-3 became the score in the 82nd minute when Alexandre Machado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Nogueira in the 86th minute of play forced SC Vitoreira's goalkeeper João Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Mariano Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Vitoreira's João Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 99th match minute, SC Marzagao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Reis to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over SC Vitoreira could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Marzagao throughout the match.
