The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Henriques during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, André Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Ramos having to interfere. Amílcar Lima struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Eusébio Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Barregao. Filipe Gonçalves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Ramos having to make a save. Amílcar Lima was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. SC Barregao's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pardielas's Eusébio Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Gonçalves in the 52nd minute of play. Eusébio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Lima in the 54th minute of play. SC Barregao's Jorge Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save SC Barregao from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Tomás Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Pardielas booed when SC Barregao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Resende didn't get a good kick on the ball.
