The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th minute Emanuel Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Emanuel Delgado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquim Leiria. The goal made the score 1-0. Joaquim Leiria made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Emanuel Delgado sent off a good shot on target. After 10 minutes, Sandro Martins made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ventozelos's Artur Borba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquim Leiria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Delgado in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Martins in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Borba saved Ventozelos from getting behind. Sandro Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Artur Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Canidelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Canidelo FC booed when Ventozelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Leiria was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Delgado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Canidelo FC's José Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Ventozelos's Artur Borba got control of the ball when Tomás Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 minutes, Vasco Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ventozelos and the Canidelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Ventozelos got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Porto. In the 60th minute Sandro Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Emanuel Delgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canidelo FC's Joaquim Leiria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquim Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Delgado in the 73rd minute of play. Tomás Neto in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Artur Borba, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 79 minutes, José Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canidelo FC and the Ventozelos players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Emanuel Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Leiria having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Emanuel Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ventozelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Delgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Leiria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ventozelos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
