Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when André Matos kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Vargelas FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jorge Nascimento hit a great ball. When Gustavo Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Rapada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Filipe Veiga came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapada FC's André Matos. But to his dismay, André Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gustavo Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Veiga having to interfere. Filipe Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Matos went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The attack was good, but when Hélder Viegas in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Andrade got free with Diogo Setúbal in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Machado's late challenge caught a Vargelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Machado helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rapada FC! After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Nuno Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vargelas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo Setúbal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 41 minutes, Hélder Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vargelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Viegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rapada FC's zone, Hélder Viegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Setúbal came out of the goal and Hélder Viegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Rapada FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélder Viegas was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Rapada FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Matos came free, but Diogo Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Hélder Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vargelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Viegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Diogo Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Vargelas FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Marco Nunes hit a great ball. In the 80th minute of the match, André Matos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filipe Veiga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 83 minutes into the match, Rapada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Andrade came free, but Diogo Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Andrade struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Diogo Setúbal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vargelas FC. Nuno Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
