Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno Leiria started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, SC Junto's Nuno Leiria made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute, Filipe Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eusébio Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliveira Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 19 played minutes SC Junto got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Carvalho. After a rather tough play, SC Junto's Paulo Antunes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Emanuel Mota struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Oliveira Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Izeda FC. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Junto's goalkeeper Oliveira Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Viegas's late challenge caught a Izeda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Viegas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Junto getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Pedro Viegas hit a great ball. Oliveira Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Abreu in the 39th minute of play.

54 minutes into the match, SC Junto's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mota came free, but Oliveira Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliveira Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Paulo Leão was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 71st minute of the match, Nuno Leiria tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eusébio Neves saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The attack was good, but when Vítor Abreu in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Oliveira Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Junto's goalkeeper Oliveira Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filipe Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Neves having to interfere. SC Junto's Nuno Leiria got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Manuel Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Izeda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Junto the free kick. After 94 played minutes Izeda FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Moura. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Junto eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
