An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pinto in the 4th minute of play forced SC Junto's goalkeeper Oliveira Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Oliveira Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Daniel Pinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rebordoes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Oliveira Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes SC Junto got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Antunes. Carlos Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Carlos Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Oliveira Sousa. SC Junto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience was convinced that Carlos Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliveira Sousa was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Artur Assunção's late challenge caught a SC Junto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 56th minute Filipe Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rebordoes FC's Vicente Borges got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Nuno Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filipe Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Barbosa in the 73rd minute of play. Carlos Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Oliveira Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Junto getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Paulo Antunes hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Daniel Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Junto's Oliveira Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Abreu in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Junto's goalkeeper Oliveira Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Filipe Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The SC Junto supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rebordoes FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rebordoes FC.
