Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fernando Miranda made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Oliveira Gomes sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute António Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SC Azinheiro's Fernando Miranda got control of the ball when Oliveira Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oliveira Gomes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Miranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, SC Eira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Tavares to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, SC Azinheiro's goalkeeper Fernando Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliveira Gomes. After 30 played minutes SC Azinheiro got a freekick which was hit by Mário Figueiredo. Luís Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Setúbal in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in SC Eira's zone, Gabriel Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Pinho came out of the goal and Gabriel Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for António Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, SC Azinheiro's Emílio Pinho threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from António Ramos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 56 minutes into the game, Armando Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Azinheiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Eira the free kick. In the 55th minute, one of SC Azinheiro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Azinheiro. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for SC Eira. Óscar Tavares stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Miranda. 1-0. Emílio Pinho stood somewhat misplaced when Gabriel Pinheiro came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Joaquim Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Joaquim Setúbal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Joaquim Setúbal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Azinheiro's Fernando Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Eira's zone, António Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Pinho came out of the goal and António Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Emílio Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Pinheiro in the 88th minute. A collision led to SC Eira getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Luís Dantas hit a great ball. If Oliveira Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Setúbal in the 93rd minute of the match. Emílio Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Pinheiro in the 96th minute. Fernando Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliveira Gomes's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. SC Azinheiro's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
