Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacinto Machado took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Manuel Queirós shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Resende showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Albertino Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artur Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jorge Resende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Boicas. 17 minutes into the game, Albertino Leiria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Boicas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Percinheira the free kick. Albertino Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. SC Boicas's Miguel Leiria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SC Boicas from getting a goal against them. Jorge Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Machado in the 33rd minute of play. When Afonso Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Percinheira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Tavares couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Filipe Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Leiria was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Jacinto Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Boicas's Adelino Antunes suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 44 minutes, Cristiano Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Percinheira and the SC Boicas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Cristiano Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe Pereira to make the kick off. Tiago Leiria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Artur Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Tavares struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Miguel Leiria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Percinheira. When Jacinto Machado fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Boicas's protests and gave Jacinto Machado a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto Machado hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Tiago Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Faro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Amílcar Campos's late challenge caught a SC Boicas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílcar Campos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Percinheira's Amílcar Campos got a free kick in the 71st minute. Artur Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tiago Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SC Boicas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Leiria couldn't finish the play. Jorge Resende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Fernandes in the 76th minute. If Filipe Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Afonso Tavares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Leiria. SC Boicas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Tavares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Boicas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Percinheira.
