Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miguel Matias got the match started through his kick off. Jaime Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Massuca FC's Jaime Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Matias in the 4th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, SC Moredo's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Vaz came free, but Catarino Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Xavier Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Pinheiro during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Massuca FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cristiano Pinheiro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Miguel Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Moredo's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Matias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Vaz in the 25th minute of play forced SC Moredo's goalkeeper Catarino Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Cristiano Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristóvão Gueifão hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Massuca FC's Gaspar Coimbra tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jaime Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Matias in the 34th minute of play. When SC Moredo's Miguel Matias in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Massuca FC's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nuno Vaz made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, SC Moredo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Pinto to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Coimbra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Catarino Gomes. SC Moredo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Miguel Matias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaime Rocha having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Rui Abreu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 73 minutes, Xavier Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Massuca FC and the SC Moredo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Moredo booed when Massuca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Moredo's zone, Cristiano Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catarino Gomes came out of the goal and Cristiano Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Massuca FC's Gaspar Coimbra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Catarino Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Vaz in the 94th minute of the match.
