Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Fernando Faro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Fernandes. Casaldeite's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Faro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Miguel Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Casaldeite defense, Pedro Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Fernandes. The Casaldeite fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Fernandes should have stopped the shot. Joaquim Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Afonso Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Inácio Porto came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Casaldeite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Porto couldn't finish the play. Azinheira's Jorge Viegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Azinheira from getting a goal against them. Afonso Faro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Casaldeite's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Rui Moutinho fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azinheira's protests and gave Rui Moutinho a yellow card for diving instead. 24 minutes into the match, Azinheira's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Faro came free, but Jorge Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Fernandes having to interfere. Adelino Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Casaldeite got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Mendes. Inácio Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Viegas having to interfere. Rui Moutinho got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fernando Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jorge Viegas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lúcio Araújo. Inácio Porto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jorge Viegas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Afonso Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jorge Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Casaldeite's Afonso Faro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Viegas. That made the score 1-2 after 49 minutes of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Faro to strike the kick off in the second half. José Paiva's late challenge caught a Casaldeite's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. José Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Faro in the 61st minute of play forced Azinheira's goalkeeper Jorge Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Viegas having to interfere. After some careless play in the Azinheira defense, Inácio Porto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Viegas. The Azinheira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Viegas should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Lúcio Araújo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Azinheira's Jorge Viegas didn't even have to move. 75 minutes into the match, Afonso Faro notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Azinheira's Jorge Viegas. Jorge Viegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Afonso Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Azinheira getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rui Pires hit a great ball. Pedro Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Casaldeite's Afonso Faro in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azinheira's goalie prevented a goal. Inácio Porto struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jorge Viegas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casaldeite. Jorge Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Faro in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Azinheira's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Faro came free, but Jorge Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
