To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SC Sela booed when SC Pamarao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Aleixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Óscar Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Assis having to interfere. Óscar Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. SC Sela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armindo Veiga in the 95th minute. The corner ended in Armindo Veiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Pamarao's Paulo Assis did a great save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Pamarao walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
