Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fernando Viegas made the kick off which started today's match. Soutilho FC's Hélder Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Soutilho FC from getting a goal against them. Fernando Viegas might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Viegas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Adelino Fernandes made a precise shot to the right of Hélder Brito. Soutilho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Atiaes booed when Soutilho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Soutilho FC's Hélder Brito got control of the ball when Adelino Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Soutilho FC's goalkeeper Hélder Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Fernandes. When Cândido Bessa fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soutilho FC's protests and gave Cândido Bessa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Cândido Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Catarino Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Catarino Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Soutilho FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Catarino Vieira hit a great ball. Hélder Brito didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Adelino Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Viegas scored 3-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélder Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diamantino Pedroso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Atiaes got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Gueifão. André Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Pedroso in the 54th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Jaime Domingues made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Atiaes's André Barros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. André Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Soutilho FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tiago Moniz hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes, Atiaes's Sebastião Ribeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hélder Brito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atiaes reached it. After a rather tough play, Soutilho FC's Catarino Vieira got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Soutilho FC's zone, Adelino Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Brito came out of the goal and Adelino Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Pacheco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jorge Pacheco hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Diamantino Pedroso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of André Barros. Diamantino Pedroso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. In the 94th minute Fernando Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adelino Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
