Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fernando Viegas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Ricardo Delgado made a precise shot to the right of André Barros. Atiaes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 10 minutes of play, SC Salselas's Rui Mendes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 14th minute of the match, Ricardo Delgado got a very nice opportunity to score, but André Barros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 16th match minute, Atiaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Armando Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atiaes's André Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 minutes, Fernando Viegas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Salselas's Mariano Viegas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute Adelino Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Atiaes got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Pacheco. Fábio Pedroso, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Delgado got free with André Barros in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adelino Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Valente during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Salselas's Joel Valente got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Atiaes's Sebastião Ribeiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Borges to make the kick off. Fernando Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Viegas having to interfere. Mariano Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Viegas in the 59th minute of play. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bernardo Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, SC Salselas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Cunha to maneuver through the defense. André Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Delgado in the 84th minute of play. Armando Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Barros having to make a save. After 90 played minutes Atiaes got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Cabral. Adelino Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Mariano Viegas made a huge save. Armando Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
