Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fernando Viegas made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Cabral during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Atiaes's zone, Armando Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Barros came out of the goal and Armando Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Oliveira Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Armando Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliveira Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Barros having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Atiaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. André Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Vieira in the 41st minute of play. The Atiaes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alufinha FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. André Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Paulo Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliveira Borbas short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got André Barros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oliveira Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Óscar Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Fernandes in the 67th minute of the match. Armando Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. André Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atiaes's André Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Atiaes from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Atiaes's Cristiano Monteiro got a free kick in the 74th minute. Armando Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Barros having to interfere. When the match was over Alufinha FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atiaes throughout the match.
