Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Soutilho FC's Diamantino Pedroso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélder Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Soutilho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Viana to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, SC Salselas's Fábio Pedroso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 15th minute, Jaime Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Hélder Brito managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when SC Salselas's Ricardo Delgado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Ricardo Delgado came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the SC Salselas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Delgado couldn't finish the play. If Diamantino Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Armando Borges made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Diamantino Pedroso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mariano Viegas. That made the score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Vaz during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Vaz hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Mariano Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Pedroso in the 82nd minute of play. If Armando Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Soutilho FC's zone, Ricardo Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Brito came out of the goal and Ricardo Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ricardo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Brito having to interfere. Soutilho FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
