Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lúcio Anjos kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes Lever FC got a freekick which was hit by José Marques. Sandro Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gil Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gil Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lúcio Anjos went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Afonso Teixeira hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Gil Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Lúcio Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basílio Porto in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Maia saved Lever FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Porto in the 25th minute of play forced Lever FC's goalkeeper Gil Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lever FC's zone, Basílio Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Maia came out of the goal and Basílio Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Viana having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Basílio Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gil Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lever FC's José Marques got a free kick in the 71st minute. SC Cabreiros's Basílio Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 played minutes, Lever FC's Bernardo Vaz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Viana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lever FC reached it. In the 83rd minute, Lúcio Anjos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gil Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Anjos in the 85th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, SC Cabreiros's goal looked a bit too open when José Esteves came free, but Manuel Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Xavier Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, José Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
