António Pacheco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. António Pacheco made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Paulo Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Paulo Cruz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of António Pacheco, 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Santulhao's Paulo Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Pacheco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, António Pacheco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jorge Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pacheco having to interfere. If Paulo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Andrade got free with António Pacheco in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Santulhao's Jorge Andrade dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Vieira was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Crueis's Rui Maia got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Paulo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Jorge Andrade notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Crueis's António Pacheco. António Pacheco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jorge Vieira struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Tomás Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crueis. If Paulo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Crueis's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Cruz came free, but António Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crueis's António Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Cruz in the 76th minute of play. Tomás Ferro made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Rui Maia sent off a good shot on target. Tomás Ferro was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Jorge Vieira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorge Vieira really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. After having played for 89 minutes, Paulo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santulhao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Paulo Cruz made a precise shot to the right of António Pacheco. Crueis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1.
