Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Mirateca's José Valente started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Pacheco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Pacheco having to make a save. José Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pacheco having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Crueis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Amílcar Valente, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. António Pacheco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Pacheco in the 17th minute of the match. José Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pacheco having to interfere. The supporters of SC Mirateca booed when Crueis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Crueis's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Pacheco came free, but António Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 36 in the game by Rui Maia from a close distance when the talented Cristiano Miranda managed to make a qualified save. SC Mirateca's players were relieved. If Rui Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Vieira made a kick off. A collision led to SC Mirateca getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Emanuel Antunes hit a great ball. Cristiano Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Jorge Vieira made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Miranda. SC Mirateca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After having played for 59 minutes, Fernando Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Mirateca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If José Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Crueis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Santarém to maneuver through the defense. António Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Valente in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Crueis's Vítor Santarém got a free kick in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, SC Mirateca's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Maia came free, but Cristiano Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Pacheco was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and José Valente capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Valente really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Rui Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cristiano Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delfim Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When José Valente came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SC Mirateca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Valente couldn't finish the play. Afonso Monteiro scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Vieira in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristiano Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
