Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Algodor's Adelino Borges started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquim Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pinheiro in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute João Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Borba in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Algodor's Adelino Borges made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Adelino Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 32 minutes, Joaquim Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algodor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Borba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Américo Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filipe Cruz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Algodor's Adelino Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Pailobo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Algodor were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pinheiro to make the kick off. When Álvaro Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Algodor's protests and gave Álvaro Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Algodor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 64thth minute of the game João Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Algodor's Joaquim Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Joaquim Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pailobo FC's Afonso Lima got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Mariano Araújo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Freitas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. João Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Joaquim Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pailobo FC. 88 minutes into the match, Pailobo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Borges came free, but André Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Algodor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
