Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Humberto Antunes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Oliveira Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jorge Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Assunção in the 6th minute of the match. Afonso Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Oliveira Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Mos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oliveira Alves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Catarino Vieira in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Rocha saved Leiao from getting behind. Oliveira Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Faro having to make a save. After 20 played minutes Leiao got a freekick which was hit by Gil Viegas. Luís Rocha came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Mos's Catarino Vieira. But to his dismay, Catarino Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Leiao getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gil Viegas hit a great ball. Luís Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Trindade in the 35th minute of play. If Humberto Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Humberto Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leiao's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Faro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliveira Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Faro having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Leiao's Humberto Antunes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Oliveira Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jorge Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Catarino Vieira made the kick off in the second half. Leiao's Luís Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Leiao from getting a goal against them. Hélder Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luís Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Catarino Vieira in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mos's Jorge Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Antunes in the 69th minute of play. Oliveira Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Faro having to interfere. Jorge Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Antunes in the 74th minute of play. Carlos Costa's late challenge caught a Mos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Costa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mos booed when Leiao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes Leiao got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Costa. With a little luck, Leiao's Luís Rocha got control of the ball when Catarino Vieira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
