Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Antunes started the match with the kick off. Cláudio Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Paulo Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angueira. After 12 played minutes, SC Paredes's Paulo Leite shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amílcar Correia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Paredes reached it. In the 14th minute, Angueira's Jacinto Carvalho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 19 played minutes Angueira got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Carvalho. Inácio Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cláudio Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SC Paredes's Manuel Antunes in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Angueira's goalie prevented a goal. After 34 minutes of play, SC Paredes's Inácio Setúbal made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amílcar Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Manuel Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the SC Paredes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Antunes couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Paulo Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Angueira:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Paredes:s goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Carvalho was the one to do the kick off. Cláudio Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cláudio Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cláudio Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Jacinto Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Setúbal got free with Amílcar Correia in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Angueira's zone, Inácio Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílcar Correia came out of the goal and Inácio Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cândido Luz's late challenge caught a SC Paredes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cândido Luz helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Angueira got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Luz. In the 87th minute, Manuel Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Amílcar Correia managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when SC Paredes's Inácio Setúbal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cláudio Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cláudio Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute, Gabriel Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Carvalho took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Queirós. Paulo Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
