A collision led to Cavadela FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gonçalo Torres hit a great ball. Angueira's Amílcar Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Tavares in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Tavares in the 12th minute of play forced Angueira's goalkeeper Amílcar Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angueira's Amílcar Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Tavares in the 17th minute of play. Cláudio Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Pereira having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Angueira got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Resende. In the 26th match minute, Angueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Resende to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amílcar Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. If Cláudio Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Correia having to interfere. Jacinto Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angueira's Cláudio Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Angueira were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Emílio Leiria hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Hugo Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Correia having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amílcar Correia. Angueira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonçalo Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 67 minutes into the game, Diogo Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cavadela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angueira the free kick. After 67 played minutes Cavadela FC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Torres. A collision led to Angueira getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lúcio Resende hit a great ball. Amílcar Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Nuno Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cláudio Magalhães in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Hugo Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amílcar Correia was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Cândido Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Cavadela FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Diogo Torres hit a great ball. Cláudio Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Nuno Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angueira. In the 88th minute, Cláudio Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Jacinto Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nuno Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
