Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Murteirinha's João Faro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Nuno Cardoso made a huge save. Paulo Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Queirós in the 7th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Sarnache FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Queirós came free, but Paulo Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Simão Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Murteirinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Paulo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Sarnache FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. João Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Esteves having to interfere. If Simão Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rogério Borges fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarnache FC's protests and gave Rogério Borges a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sarnache FC's Rogério Borges got a free kick in the 26th minute. Paulo Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If João Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Sarnache FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Queirós came free, but Paulo Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Faro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Cristóvão Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sarnache FC booed when SC Murteirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Viegas to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Nuno Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarnache FC. Pedro Viegas took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Cardoso. Nuno Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If João Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65thth minute of the game David Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Murteirinha's Nuno Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Teixeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Cardoso having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Teixeira during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricardo Teixeira hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Simão Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, João Faro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Esteves. The goal made the score 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
