Nuno Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Pinto in the 5th minute of the match. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paradinha FC! In the 9th minute, the referee gave Carrapateira FC a penalty. Alexandre Vaz looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Tomás Rodrigues. When Humberto Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrapateira FC's protests and gave Humberto Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute Simão Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bruno Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute of the match Lourenço Ferro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Figueiredo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jorge Aleixo's late challenge caught a Carrapateira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Aleixo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carrapateira FC booed when Paradinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Aleixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carrapateira FC's Alexandre Vaz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Paradinha FC. A collision led to Paradinha FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jorge Aleixo hit a great ball. When Simão Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Carrapateira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Pereira couldn't finish the play. Tomás Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Simão Pereira sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Pereira got free with Tomás Rodrigues in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Paradinha FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jorge Aleixo hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Faria to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomás Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Rodrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Pereira's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Simão Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrapateira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th match minute, Paradinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Domingues to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Faria in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Rodrigues saved Paradinha FC from getting behind. João Coelho hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Nuno Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Bruno Amaro sent off a good shot on target. Paradinha FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Carrapateira FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raul Jesus took the corner. Paradinha FC's Tomás Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Faria in the 80th minute of play. Nuno Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Pinto in the 83rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Simão Pereira sped through Paradinha FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomás Rodrigues. Armindo Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paradinha FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
