Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sérgio Paiva made the kick off and thus started the match. After 6 played minutes Pilado got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Baptista. If Rui Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lourenço Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Afonso Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Vítor Marques notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Taboaco's Lourenço Fonseca. Lourenço Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Taboaco! Rui Gomes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cândido Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Pilado got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Domingues. After some careless play in the Pilado defense, Rui Gomes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cândido Monteiro. The Pilado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cândido Monteiro should have stopped the shot. Pilado's Vítor Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Vítor Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilado's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lourenço Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Vítor Marques made the kick off in the second half. Sérgio Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cândido Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Lourenço Fonseca made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Pedro Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Fonseca having to interfere. If Vítor Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the game, Afonso Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Lourenço Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Borges took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lourenço Fonseca. Lourenço Fonseca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Cândido Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Pilado could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Taboaco throughout the match.
