Tremez FC's António Valente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Tremez FC from getting a goal against them. If Simão Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, José Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Loicana's supporters rose to their feet, but José Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Tremez FC's zone, Simão Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Valente came out of the goal and Simão Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Valente made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Monteiro in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simão Moura in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Valente saved Tremez FC from getting behind. A collision led to Tremez FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bernardo Soares hit a great ball. José Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. António Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mário Guarda was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Soares during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Simão Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 87 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SC Loicana's Simão Moura fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Simão Moura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Valente having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Loicana fully deserved thier win.
