After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Pedro Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boucinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pedro Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Nunes struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gaspar Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boucinha FC. Emílio Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Emílio Fontes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaspar Branco. SC Ursulinas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Boucinha FC's Pedro Nunes in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boucinha FC reached it. Delfim Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Borges having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delfim Alves to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Eusébio Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Boucinha FC's Gabriel Campos got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gaspar Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to SC Ursulinas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Nuno Pires hit a great ball. Delfim Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Branco having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Vieira in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Pedro Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Carlos Henriques put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Afonso Borges. When Carlos Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SC Ursulinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Henriques couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Boucinha FC's Pedro Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Delfim Alves took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gaspar Branco to make any attempt to save it. When Carlos Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the SC Ursulinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Henriques couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Boucinha FC's zone, Eusébio Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Borges came out of the goal and Eusébio Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delfim Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Branco having to interfere. Boucinha FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
