Catarino Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Eduardo Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes SC Outeiros got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Queirós. Pedro Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Cerca's Pedro Leal got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Miguel Nunes, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 30 minutes into the match, SC Cerca's Vítor Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Morais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amílcar Queirós's late challenge caught a SC Cerca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílcar Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Outeiros getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Amílcar Queirós hit a great ball. With his leg José Jesus managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when SC Outeiros's Rafael Maia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute, Abel Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Jesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Abel Teixeira made the kick off in the second half. If Abel Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Maia in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Jesus saved SC Cerca from getting behind. If Vítor Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Morais made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Vítor Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Abel Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. José Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Outeiros. 72 minutes into the game, SC Outeiros's Abel Teixeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Jesus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Abel Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Jesus having to interfere. A collision led to SC Cerca getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Paulo Ferro hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Miguel Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rafael Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
