Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Campos started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Picotos's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Valente came free, but Sebastião Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliveira Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Picotos's zone, Oliveira Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Nascimento came out of the goal and Oliveira Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If André Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Picotos's Sebastião Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Matias in the 20th minute of play. Paulo Rodrigues who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of António Queirós when he managed to save the team from getting behind. António Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Campos in the 27th minute of the match. Oliveira Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sebastião Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When João Leite fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taboabela's protests and gave João Leite a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Queirós having to interfere. André Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Nascimento having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Matias to make the kick off. André Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Matias in the 54th minute of play. If Oliveira Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Taboabela booed when Picotos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Oliveira Valente came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Taboabela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliveira Valente couldn't finish the play. Jorge Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Queirós having to interfere. A collision led to Taboabela getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. David Pereira hit a great ball. Jorge Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Sebastião Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Oliveira Valente sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Campos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Queirós having to make a save. Jorge Campos scored 2-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of António Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Taboabela's Oliveira Valente got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sebastião Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Picotos players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
