SC Vieiros's Óscar Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliveira Valente in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Augusto Moreira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliveira Valente to strike the kick off in the second half. If Catarino Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Matias during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Taboabela getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. André Matias hit a great ball. Daniel Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oliveira Valente in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The SC Vieiros fans cheered their team off the field, for while Taboabela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
