Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when David Neves made the kick off which started today's match. Faro's Fernando Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Bruno Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Faro's zone, Raul Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Amaral came out of the goal and Raul Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Rodrigo Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Rui Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Faro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabugos FC the free kick. Rui Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Sabugos FC's Raul Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Faro's zone, David Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Amaral came out of the goal and David Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. Faro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabugos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Faro's Filipe Assis got a free kick in the 28th minute. Paulo Amaral acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emanuel Martins. Rodrigo Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sandro Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabugos FC's goalkeeper Sandro Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Paulo Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Neves struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Sandro Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faro. Filipe Assis got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 45th match minute, Faro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Assis to maneuver through the defense. David Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Paulo Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Simões to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Eusébio Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Faro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabugos FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Faro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sabugos FC:s goal. After 60 minutes of play, Sabugos FC's Raul Cruz made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emanuel Martins hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, David Neves put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo Amaral. A collision led to Faro getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rodrigo Neves hit a great ball. If Raul Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 85 minutes of play Faro's Rui Carvalho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Rui Carvalho hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Emanuel Martins sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Faro's Paulo Amaral didn't even have to move. Raul Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Paulo Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, David Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
