Alfredo Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Caveira FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Rodrigues. Viriato Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Cabral having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viriato Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vítor Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caveira FC's Viriato Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Caveira FC's Alberto Branco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vítor Cabral. A very good chance. Álvaro Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alfredo Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pedro Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Vítor Cabral acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joaquim Almeida. Alberto Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute of the match, Manuel Rodrigues got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vítor Cabral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alfredo Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caveira FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
