Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustavo Porto got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Torneiro booed when SC Bogalhal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Raul Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Henriques hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Raul Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Gustavo Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Porto in the 33rd minute of the match. Emanuel Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Torneiro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! In the 43rd minute, Júlio Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Diogo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torneiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When José Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torneiro's protests and gave José Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Júlio Santos made the kick off in the second half. When José Sousa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. A collision led to Torneiro getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. José Sousa hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SC Bogalhal defense, Diogo Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Oliveira. The SC Bogalhal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Oliveira should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Sebastião Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armindo Amaral went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Lucas Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Torneiro's zone, Gustavo Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Castro came out of the goal and Gustavo Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armindo Amaral got free with Paulo Castro in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ricardo Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Torneiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Henriques couldn't finish the play. The Torneiro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Bogalhal's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Bogalhal.
