Hélder Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Anjos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hélder Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eduardo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balbeira FC's Eduardo Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Balbeira FC from getting a goal against them. António Azevedos short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Eduardo Carneiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 68th match minute, Balbeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Moniz to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Azevedo in the 76th minute. José Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rogério Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Balbeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Moniz. SC Chamusca were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Balbeira FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Júlio Barbosa took the corner. Eduardo Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Soares's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Balbeira FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Azevedo. Eduardo Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when António Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. José Anjos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play.
