Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cláudio Faria made the kick off and thus started the match. Rafael Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Carneiro in the 7th minute of play. Rui Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rafael Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carlos Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Grota fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Pedroso couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manariz FC's goalkeeper Rafael Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Grota fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Grota's Carlos Pedroso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Carlos Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes, Américo Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manariz FC and the Grota players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Garcia shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Humberto Costa came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Manariz FC's Vítor Leão. But to his dismay, Vítor Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a little luck, Manariz FC's Rafael Baptista got control of the ball when Carlos Pedroso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Faria in the 49th minute of play forced Grota's goalkeeper Humberto Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Carneiro to make the kick off. Rafael Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Carneiro in the 54th minute of the match. Rafael Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Carlos Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Manuel Garcia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Vítor Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Fernando Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Bessa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Humberto Costa. That made the score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. When Manariz FC's Cláudio Faria in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grota's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Grota defense, Vítor Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Costa. The Grota fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Costa should have stopped the shot. In the 85th match minute, Grota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Leiria to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Costa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Afonso Borges. 87 minutes into the match, Vítor Leão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Humberto Costa, 2-4. Carlos Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rafael Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Grota's Carlos Pedroso in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manariz FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Manariz FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
