A collision led to Labugueira getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Carlos Baptista hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Simão Martins made a precise shot to the right of Artur Campos. Labugueira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mariano Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliveira Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Pedro Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mariano Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Anjos in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Fonseca saved Plinos FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Ferro in the 32nd minute of play forced Labugueira's goalkeeper Artur Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mariano Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Anjos might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Anjos ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Plinos FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Filipe Brito hit a great ball. Mariano Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Maia went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandro Ferro to strike the kick off in the second half. Simão Martins's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Artur Campos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Artur Campos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Martins went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Pedro Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Plinos FC got a freekick which was hit by David Aleixo. In the 64th minute Pedro Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Maia in the 66th minute of the match. Plinos FC's Mariano Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Anjos in the 67th minute of play. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
