Domingos Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, André Borges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Carregueiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Arraiolos the free kick. André Borges hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Vicente Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the SC Arraiolos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Queirós couldn't finish the play. Álvaro Guarda hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, SC Carregueiro's André Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Henriques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The audience was convinced that António Ferro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Henriques was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Álvaro Guarda was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. In the 97th play minute Vicente Queirós came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Domingos Queirós. 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
